EDUKWEST has learnt that as with today Chip Paucek takes over the position as Chief Executive Officer at 2tor.
Paucek who is one of the three co-founders has been serving as President and COO of the company since its founding.
Founding CEO John Katzman will continue to serve the company as Executive Chairman.
Paucek is experienced in the CEO’s seat as prior to 2tor he served as CEO of Hooked on Phonics. Under his serving the company achieved nationwide retail presence in the US.
The switch comes as a consequence of 2tor’s “explosive growth” as Katzman states.
The new CEO says: “I’m ecstatic and humbled to lead 2tor at this exciting time, both for this intense growth period for the company and higher education globally”.
2tor partners with selected universities in different verticals and provides them with the web technologies, infrastructural support and capital to build first class online learning experiences. The company has been founded in 2008 and is one of the best funded startups in education today.
