2tor raises $26 million Series D after launching MPA@UNC last week

2tor - Great Universities Unleashed

Two strong weeks for 2tor. After announcing the launch of a new partnership with UNC Chapel Hill early last week, 2tor announced a series D round of $26 million led by an affiliate of the Hillman Company and with participation of all existing investors today. You can find the full list in the press release.

This round brings the total funding to $96 million making 2tor one of the best funded education startups besides Knewton and Kno.

As always the new investment will go into future partnerships with selected universities as 2tor aims to deliver the best-in-class degrees in a variety of subjects. Last week 2tor announced its fifth partnership with University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill offering a Master of Public Administration, or short MPA@UNC.
